Maxine 'Belken' Strong

Mrs. Maxine Louise 'Belken' Strong passed away early Sunday morning, January 5, 2003, at her Farmington Presbyterian Manor residence at the age of 82 years, 9 months & 9 days. She was born March 26, 1920, in Fredericktown, MO., to Charles John Belken & Jennie 'Sonderman' Belken. Also preceding-in-death was: her husband, George Earl Strong (May 1, 1993); 4 Sisters: Mary Morgan; Sister Ursula Marie Belken; Glenda Boyd & Lucille Koppeis. Also, 1 Brother, Charles Belken. Maxine was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Farmington. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 2 SISTERS - Edna Woodward, of Farmington & Kathryn 'Mrs. Charles' Miller, of St. Louis. Also surviving are numerous Nieces & Nephews. Visitation Monday, 4-8 p.m., resuming Tuesday at 7:00 a.m., & funeral mass Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., January 7, 2003, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farmington, with Fr. Jim Mitulski officiating. Interment Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, 1:00 p.m., at Baxter Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mt. Home, Arkansas. Memorials to: St. Joseph Catholic Church - Capital Campaign Fund.
