Maxine H Mccown

Maxine H. McCown, 96, of Terre Du Lac passed away November 26, 2015. She was born November 22, 1919 in Salem, MO to the late William and Edna (Garrett) Halbrook. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Jerry McCown; daughter, Sharon Ann Bartley and brother, Lloyd Halbrook. Maxine is survived by her son, Garrett “Gary” Keithly and wife Sonja; step-son, James McCown and wife Judy; seven grandchildren, Diana Black, Karen (Jim) Guttormson, Kay (Marty) McClanahan, Linda (Tom) Herrmann, Steve Bartley, Brian (Kelly) McCown, Laura (Michael) Davis; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Rev. Ron Poole officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park.
