May Pearl Canter

May Pearl Canter, age 75 passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at her home in Fredericktown, Missouri. She was born on August 1, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri to Benjamin Wesley and Daisy Pearl (Snodgrass) Shelton.

She was married to Jerry Canter who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded by seven brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by one brother – Wesley Joseph Shelton of Fredericktown and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

May was a machine operator at Brisco Meyers Pharmaceutical in St. Louis and later in North Carolina. She loved animals, especially her dog "Nicki".

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Antioch Cemetery near Fredericktown..
