Mayor Robert "Robbie" Crump

Mayor Robbie Crump, 51, of Leadwood, passed away September 19, 2023, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born July 24, 1972, in Bonne Terre, to the late Lindell Wayne Crump and Jacqueline Denise (Masson) Wilcox.
Robbie was the current Mayor of Leadwood and enjoyed reading about the history of Leadwood. His goal as Mayor was to bring Leadwood back to life. He was a sub-contractor for heating and cooling systems and in his spare time, coached little league baseball, listened to classic rock and short track racing. Robbie was a family man, so his biggest love was spending time with his children.

Robbie is survived by his four children, Savannah “Chloe” Rose Smith (Roberto Arciles), Kaitlin Dawn Crump (Kavahsiae Jordan), Brooke Ellen Tiefenauer and Cooper Blake Crump; one grandson, Mateo Smith; grandmother, Loretta Masson; siblings, Krista Massengale and husband Bill, Rebecca Crump (Mark), Cassie Crump (Davey); nieces and nephews, Kayla, Courtney, Maddie, Shyann, Grace, Makayla, Garret, Zack; great nieces and nephews, Alijah and Shane; companion, Lindsy Skiles; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.

A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, September 22, 2023, from 5:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM. Reverend Ryan Retzer will be officiating. Memorials may be directed to the funeral home to help with his final expenses.
