Melba "Renee" Woods

Melba Renee Woods, known as "Renee" passed away January 13, 2020 in Desloge, Missouri at the age of 63 years. She was born March 3, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late James William and Osie Iola (Fry) Brooks. On August 18, 1982 she was united in marriage to Gary Franklin Woods who proceeded her in death on February 4, 2013. Renee is survived by her daughter, April Renee Courtway and husband, Todd of Ironton, Missouri, two sisters; Essie Mae Phegley and husband, Barney of Graniteville, Missouri and Mary Beth Brooks of St. Charles, Missouri, a granddaughter; Summer Renee Courtway and fiancé, Evan Whited, her great gradndaughter; Isabella Whited as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Renee was proceeded in death by two brothers; James Gale Brooks and Woodrow Dale Brooks. Renee enjoyed her career as a nurse. She liked to take care of people which she did for forty-two years.
