Melissa Deann Guilfoy

Melissa Guilfoy of House Springs, MO passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Big River Nursing Home at the age of 64. She was born Monday, February 8, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Truman and Shirley (Mudge) Umfleet.

In addition to her parents, Melissa was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Guilfoy and brother, Dale Umfleet.

Melissa was a loving Mother and MawMaw. She helped raise her grandchildren and was a big part in their lives. She loved butterflies and especially loved her fur baby, Precious.

Melissa is survived by her children; Joe (Jill) Guilfoy, Melinda Guilfoy, and Joshua (Jamie) Guilfoy and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 9 at 12:45 P.M. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis officiated by Brother Kenny. Arrangements are under the directions of CZ Boyer & Son funeral home Bonne Terre, MO.
