Melody Lucille Minear

Melody Lucille Minear of Richmond, Texas passed away December 24, 2020 at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital in Sugar Land, Texas at the age of 63 with her husband and daughter by her side. Melody was born July 11, 1957 the daughter of the late Melvin "Mert" and Virginia "Jenny" (Cathey) Meredith. On October 9, 1976 she was united in marriage to James F. Minear and he survives. To this union a daughter, Krystal Minear, was born. Melody is also survived by her granddaughter, Alyssa Minear. They all reside in Richmond, Texas. Other surviving family members include her brother: Curtis Meredith (Robin) of Lesterville, Missouri, and two sisters: Barbara Hester (Bill) of Lesterville, Missouri, and Kathy Thompson (Bill) of Belleview, Missouri as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Melody was preceded in death by her parents; Melvin "Mert" and Virginia "Jenny" Meredith and Virginia's second husband, Clifford Thompson, who was a father figure in her life. As well as three...
