Melvin J. Johnson

Melvin Jesse Johnson, 70, of Farmington passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at his residence.  He was born February 5, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Henry and Arizona (LeVan) Johnson. He attended Calvary Bible Way Tabernacle in Arnold, Missouri.

            In addition to his parents, Melvin was preceded in death by three sisters, Estel Guy, Laura Taylor, and Sarah Smith; two brothers, Gene and Hershel Johnson.

            Melvin is survived by his loving companion, Connie Rayborn; brother, William (Nancy) Johnson; and sisters, Geneva Buchholz and Faye Essary.

            Visitation will be Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Monday, May 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Pastor Bill Terry officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park Mausoleum.
