Melvin "Mell" August Yokel

Melvin Yokel, 85, of Desloge, passed away May 5, 2024, at NHC nursing center in Desloge.   He was born February 17, 1939, in Wayne County, to the late George Henry and Florence Katherine (Litsinger) Yokel.   

 He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gloria Yokel; and three brothers, George, Billy and Gary Yokel.

 He is survived by a son, David (Trudy) Hosty; two grandchildren,  Kara (Tyler) Jones, Kyle Hosty; great-granddaughter, Alison Hosty; one sister, Yvonne Norma Shields.

 A Celebration of Life will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
