Michael Gean Hulsey

Michael “Choko” Hulsey, 65, of Desloge, passed away December 27, 2021, at home surrounded by family.  He was born November 12, 1956, in Farmington, to the late Jack and Betty (Jones) Hulsey.  Michael was an advid hunter and fisherman. He loved working on motorcycles and he loved his fur baby, Petey. Michael loved his family, hearing from his brothers and his granddaughter, Katlyn, was his world.

          He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael “Henry” Hulsey, II; siblings, Danny Hulsey, Vivian (Hulsey) Wilkinson; son-in-law, Dustin Gaugel; and the mother of his children, Susan Hulsey.

          Michael is survived his daughter, Mandy (Hulsey) Gaugel; granddaughter, Katlyn Hubbard; siblings; Diane (Gary) Cartee, Lana (David) Darnell, Dicky (Aleca) Hulsey; Gary (Cindy) Hulsey, and David (Regina) Hulsey. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, January 3, 2021, at 11:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM.  Reverend Dave Watkin will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Odd Fellow Cemetery in Park Hills.  Memorials may be directed to C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Homes, Inc. to help family with funeral expenses.
