Michael Wayne Georgia

Michael Wayne Georgia of Arcadia, Missouri passed away September 19, 2024 at his home at the age of 67 years. He was born August 7, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Willis Georgia and Wilma (Wood) Georgia of St. Louis, Missouri. He is survived by his mother, his sister Brenda Harriman and husband, Richard of Porum, Oklahoma, his brother, Kenneth Georgia of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri, three nieces, Sarah Georgia (Kristopher Little), Brandy Georgia, and Sharina Martindale (Billy Martindale), great nephews, a great niece, a great, great nephew, aunts, many cousins and many friends. In addition to his father, Michael is preceded in death by his brother Ronald Georgia, paternal grandparents, Wilburn and Margie Georgia, and maternal grandparents, Leonard and Eva Wood. Michael attended Pattonville Sr. High School before joining the United States Army and serving our country in automotive repair. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was a true patriot at heart and proud to be an American. In his young life, Michael developed a passion for bowling which he excelled, earning many trophies and plaques. Later in life he also enjoyed billiards. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his witty remarks. However, he will be mostly remembered for his compassion for those whom he loved. Rest peacefully in eternity, Mike. It was Michael’s wish to be interred at Jefferson Barracks and those arrangements are pending. A service will be given at a later time.
