Michael Jason Stevens

          Jason Stevens, 40, of Leadwood, passed away October 29, 2021.  He was born August 26, 1981, in Farmington, to Richard and Sherry Stevens, Sr.  Jason was a 2000 graduate of West County High School  and worked at S.R.G. Global. He loved cooking, gardening, hunting, his family, but most of all, his nieces and nephews.  Jason never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need, because of his generous heart.

          He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry (DeGrant) Stevens-Hughes; grandparents, Betty Louise Reese Stevens-Bristol, William Edsel Stevens, Larry and Arnetta DeGrant; aunt, Carla DeGrant-Petty; uncles, Paul Stevens and Rich Middleton.  

          Jason is survived by his father, Rick Stevens, Sr.; siblings, Jennifer (Michael) Cason and  Rick Stevens, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Chase, Cruze, Hunter and Autumn; uncles, Martin (Jan) Stevens, Larry DeGrant, Kevin DeGrant and Mark Petty; aunt, Pam Middleton; special cousin, Mark Stevens and family; numerous cousins and friends, also survive.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, November 5, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.  The funeral service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 12:00 PM.  Interment will follow at Sunlight Cemetery in Belgrade.
