Michael "Mick" Eugene Harris

Michael “Mick” Eugene Harris, 80, of Desloge, passed away July 2, 2023.  He was born December 3, 1942, in Bonne Terre, to the late  Eugene Spencer “Pete” and Grace Irene (Farmer) Harris.  Mick proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years.  He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist of Both Farmington and Fredericktown, Mineral Area Chapter of Elks Lodge #2583 in Desloge.  Mick enjoyed horses, hunting, fishing, hiking, gardening, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two nieces.

Mick is survived by his wife Donna (Douglas) Harris; children, Kelly Ireland and husband Billy, Todd Harris, Jodi Wilcox, Mandi Herzog and husband Eric; grandchildren, Michael (Amanda) Cook, Kelcey Cook, Emily (Jawaun) Lee, Anna Wilcox, Sara Wilcox, Luci, Bucklei, and Harris Herzog; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Anne (Charlie) Carver, Byron “Doc” (Marge) Harris, Connie (Bob) Lee, Spencer “TG” (Becky) Harris, Kathy (Mike) Claywell, Brad (Teri) Harris, Lynne (Henry) Smith and John (Robyn) Harris; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 2:00 PM until the celebration of life at 4:00 PM.  Pastor David Lincoln will be officiating.
