Michael “Mike” Lee Miller, 52, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026. He was born on Saturday, January 31, 1974, in Festus, Missouri to Anthony “Butch” Miller and Michele (Turner) Miller.
Mike was a loving son, father, grandfather, and friend who brought laughter, warmth, and joy to everyone, fortunate enough to know him.
Mike was a devoted family man who treasured spending time with his loved ones. He especially enjoyed firing up the BBQ, riding his Harley Davidson, and gathering with family and friends. Known for his outgoing personality and infectious laughter, Mike never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone feel welcome. He was his grandson Drake's biggest supporter and never missed an opportunity to cheer him on at his sporting events. Michael also cherished shopping trips with his daughter, McKenzie, and grandchildren. Above all, his greatest joy was being surrounded by the people he loved.
Mike worked as a skilled pipefitter with Airco, where he took great pride in his work. His strong work ethic, friendly nature, and ability to connect with others made a lasting impression on those around him.
Mike is survived by his loving mother, Michele Miller; daughter, McKenzie Burnia and husband Charlie; four cherished grandchildren, Drake, Draden, Ava, and Jaida; dear brother, Joseph "Joe" Miller; niece, Kylee Miller; McKenzie's mother and Mike’s dear friend, Jenn Webers; father figure and close friend, Dwight Miller; and dear friends, Tena and Rob Shipp, Freda, Dena, and Brandi Branham, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father Anthony “Butch” Miller; grandparents, Ed and Margaret Miller and Alan and June Turner; his best friend, Eddie Branham, who was like a father to him; and Lil Eddie Branham, who held a special place in Michael's heart and was like a brother to him.
Mike will be remembered for his big heart, his love of family, his contagious laughter, and his ability to make even the simplest moments unforgettable. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Bonne Terre, Friday, November 6, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 9:00 AM until service time of 11:00 AM with Father Vincent Nyman officiating. Interment will follow at Saint Anne Catholic Cemetery in French Village, Missouri.
In honor of Mike’s love for riding his Harley Davidson, the family warmly invites anyone who wishes to join the funeral procession on their motorcycle as we accompany Mike to his final resting place. Mike would have been truly honored to have his fellow riders join him for one last ride.
