Michael Lynn White, affectionately known as “Mouse” peacefully passed away at his home in Doe Run on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the age of 73. He was born to the late Lloyd White and June Saltz in Gunnison, Colorado on Sunday, January 20, 1952.
Mouse is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Christine Bess White; 4 daughters, Valerie and Bob Willcoxson of Arizona, Dianna and Will Dunlap of Park Hills, Johnna and Brad Hillier of Florida, and Ashley Sabourin of Doe Run; 11 Grandchildren, Clayton and Garrett Hodecker, Ashlynn, Trace, and Walker Dunlap, Christian Strom, Griffin, Kingston, and Teagan Garner, Maizy and Ella Sabourin; 3 Great-Grandchildren, Serenity, Montgomery, Lyric and a little girl is coming in February 2026. Mouses family also includes his sister and 2 brothers, Beverly and Benton Kelley, Michael and Joanne Skidmore, and Woody and Brandy White; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many special friends and family.
Along with his parents, Mouse was proceeded in death by his step-dad, Bob Saltz; his brother, Gary White; and his brother-in-law, Kenny Moran.
Mouses profession was a welder which he immensely enjoyed. Some of his other passions include hunting, fishing, gardening, taxidermy and driving around “Ole Blue”. He had a mild obsession with decorating the outside of the house with Christmas lights and he loved telling and retelling stories with his own twists.
Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 2, 2026, at Weiss Cemetery in Doe Run. Family and friends will gather at 10:15 AM at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home- Taylor Chapel in Farmington to go in procession to the cemetery.
