Mickey Thomas Fincher, 78, of Farmington, MO passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 23, 1946 in Hamilton, AL to the late Thomas and Loice (Green) Fincher. Mickey proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Connections Church of Park Hills. Mickey retired from American Can Company after 30 years. After retirement, he owned and operated MLS Auto Sales for 10 years. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and horseback riding. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Kenny Fincher; sister, Verneva Nettles; brothers-in-law, Tommy Bell, J.T. Nettles and Gene McKay.
Mickey is survived by the love of his life of 59 years, Sharron “Sherry” (Jarrett) Fincher; son, Lennie (Nikki) Fincher; daughter, Penny (Andy) Boyer; daughter-in-law, Karla Fincher; seven grandchildren, Ashley (Colby) Davis, Kylie (Josh) Mitchell, Baylee (Logan) Blunt, Makenzie Fincher, Owen Boyer, Avery Boyer and Elliett Boyer; seven great-grandchildren; Aubrey and Carly Davis, Magnolia “Maggie”, Eva and Abram Mitchell, Beckham and Blair Blunt; seven siblings, Frankie (Mary Jayne) Fincher, Kathaleen McKay, Nona (Robert) Kelley, Brenda Bell, Leland (Donna Sue) Fincher, Marsha Bost (George Turley) and David (Susie) Fincher; and fur-baby, Billy. Several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lennie Fincher officiating. Entombment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Legacy Mission at any Belgrade State Bank Location. The Legacy Mission is a 501c3 established for the purpose of helping people to find their Divine Purpose in Life. The Legacy Mission incorporates Equine Assisted Learning in helping to teach these valuable life lessons. The Mission is currently raising funds to build an indoor riding facility to expand the impact of their program to enable them to reach more of the at-risk youth in our community.
