Mike David

          Michael "Mike" Joseph David, age 73, of Desloge was born on Wednesday, July 27, 1949, in Bonne Terre to the late Horace Earl and Ima June (Colson) David.

          Mike worked over 40 years in the transportation industry. He drove for Healthcare Transportation Systems for 15 years and then went on to work for Schnucks where he retired with over 25 years of service. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting, traveling and took so much pride in caring for his yard.  But most of all, his family was his everything. Mike had the biggest heart and loved unconditionally and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Jill Walker; brothers-in-law, James Francis and Carroll Allen; in-laws, H.E. and Norma Francis Jr. and uncle, Jake Krause.

         Mike is survived by his loving wife Ann (Francis) David; children, Shelley Langmade and husband Josh, Karree David and significant other, Neil Minor; grandchildren, Tatum and Bennett Langmade, Brynlee David, Elyse and Addison Minor; sisters-in-law, Jane (Allen) Eck and husband John, Rosemary Francis; brother-in-law, Dan Walker and a special aunt, Lois Krause; nieces, Angie Winch and husband James; Jean Scholtes and husband Jeff; Jennie Heins and husband Eric; and nephew Craig Allen and wife Laura.
