Mildred Ada Ebert, nee Townsend, was born April 10, 1923 at Belgrade, Missouri. She died October 26, 2017 at James River Nursing Home in Springfield, Missouri. Her parents were the late Charles Ray Townsend and Florence (Garrett) Townsend of Bismarck, Missouri. They preceded her in death in 1951.
Mildred was reared in Bismarck and attended all twelve grades there. She worked eight years for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of the Bismarck Methodist Church and was also a member of Mineral Area Chapter 260 O.E.S. at Desloge, Missouri.
May 27, 1944 she married Carl William Reed of Chloride, Missouri. Born to this union are two living children; son Kenneth Townsend Reed of Aurora, Colorado and daughter, Carla Rae Reed of Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Carl preceded her in death on October 12, 1983 at their home in Sullivan, Missouri.
