Mildred Rose Mann, 90, of Middlebrook, Missouri, passed away on April 17, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born on December 30, 1935, in Shannon County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Brooks and Pearlee (Bunch) Williams.

On March 19, 1955, Mildred was united in marriage to Jerry Andrew Mann, who preceded her in death on February 14, 2023. Together, they shared 68 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, faith, and devotion to family. Three children were born to this union: Brian Mann (fiancé, Robin Dickman) of Middlebrook, Missouri; Michael Mann; and Sandra Walters, with Michael and Sandra preceding her in death.

Mildred is survived by her loving son, Brian, whom she affectionately nicknamed “Super Sissy.” He was her baby, and she delighted in spoiling him and was immensely proud of the man he became. Also surviving are two brothers, Merle Williams (Barbara) of St. Louis, Missouri, and Cuell “Sonny” Williams (Jenny) of Ellington, Missouri; two sisters, Hazel Mooney of Ellington, Missouri, and Nadine Johnson of Warrenton, Missouri; six grandchildren, Corie, Stephanie, Marissa, Megan, Rachel, and David; and six great-grandchildren.

Mildred dearly loved her great-grandchildren and treasured the time spent with them. Her relationship with her great-grandson Matthew held a special place in her heart. She cherished their simple conversations and found joy in teaching him about life and sharing her love for Christ. Many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends also mourn her passing.

A graduate of Ellington High School, Mildred was a devoted wife and mother who took great pride in caring for her home and family. She found true joy in cooking and baking and was well known for her exceptional skills in the kitchen. When her grandchildren visited, she always had breakfast ready—especially her famous homemade biscuits with elderberry syrup. Family members often joked about the “fight” between Stephanie, her dad Brian, and Grandpa Jerry over who would get the last biscuit. She was also known for her homemade ice cream and caramel, which the grandchildren would eagerly enjoy before Grandpa and Dad came back inside.

In her later years, Mildred enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and crafting, including plastic canvas art. She took special pleasure in giving her handmade creations to others, asking for nothing in return but the happiness it brought.

Mildred was a member of Des Arc Assembly of God in earlier years. When she was no longer able to attend services in person, she faithfully continued worshiping from home, often watching church services on television with Brian. Her faith remained a constant and meaningful part of her life, and she dearly loved the Lord.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Bryson Chapel in Pilot Knob, Missouri, with Pastor Don Dement officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026. Interment will take place at Mann Cemetery on Friday following the funeral service.
