Mr. Milford Cash passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing, in Farmington, at the age of 86 years, 1 month & 19 days. Milford was born Sept. 18, 1930, in Flat River, MO., & was the son of Oscar Pearl Cash (dec'd April 10, 1984) & Fannie Isabell 'Walker' Cash (dec'd Oct. 28, 1995). Also preceding in death was his wife, Mary Lou 'Hoehn' Cash (July 25, 2005) and a brother, Oscar Keith Cash, and 2 sisters - Dorothy Winebarger and Loretta Biri.
Milford was a longtime, faithful member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington and a U. S. Marine Veteran of the Korean conflict. He worked for 40 years for the Missouri State Highway Department as a Survey Engineer. He was also active in the Farmington Auxiliary Police and is remembered at many football games, dances & parades in the community. Milford, an avid gardner, grew the best tomatoes around. He loved camping, fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Mike (& Sandy) Cash, of Springfield, MO., along with grandchildren Carston & Madison. Daughter, Lisa Cash & Chuck Faulkner, of Rye, CO., along with grandchildren Mallory (San Francisco), Collin, Calli, Zoe and Siatta. In addition, his special friends, Terry & Elane Johnson and son, Ryan, of Farmington, along with nieces, nephews and loving caregivers Mary (& Danny) Fitzgerald, Christy Cash, Serenity HospiceCare, Southbrook Nursing staff and his caring neighbors in Springbrook Park. Milford is further survived by 3 brothers-in-law and dear friends Bob Hoehn, Lee Hoehn and David (& Sandy) Hoehn, all of Farmington. He will be dearly missed by all.
Visitation : Thursday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Friday @ 6:30 a.m.
Funeral Service : Friday, 10:00 a.m., November 11, 2016
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Scott Hall officiating.
Interment WITH FULL MILITARY HONORS following at : Copenhagen Cemetery, Farmington
