Monroe Alexander Keenan of Ironton, Missouri passed away on December 7, 2024. He was born July 2, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of the late Marion Leon Keenan, Sr. and Julia (Wiseman) Chapman. Monroe is survived by his three siblings: his brother, Marion Keenan, Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri, and his sisters, Rebecca Riggs of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Debra Roets (Pat) of Palm Bay, Florida. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins are left to mourn his passing. Monroe worked in the construction industry and was a member of the Arcadia Valley Eagles. He loved spending time with family, mostly his cousins. Monroe enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching sports, especially baseball, football and hockey. He also liked playing cards and watching horse races with family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from Bryson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lois Yates officiating. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 2:00 p.m.
