Murphy Allen Johnson

Murphy Allen Johnson, age 88 passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at his home in O'Fallon, Missouri. He was born on April 1, 1931 in Silver Mines, Missouri, a son of James Levi and Alle Belle (Smith) Johnson. On June 1, 1957 he was united in marriage to Juanita Fern Cox, she preceded him in death on August 4, 2010. Also preceding him are his parents, brothers – Adrian, Arnold, John, Eldon and Isaac; sisters – Alta Kretschmar and Betty Forsythe. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law – Scarlet & Daniel Harris of Wentzville, Missouri; one son – Bart Johnson and significant other Mindy of O'Fallon and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Murphy retired in 1982 from General Motors in St. Louis, Missouri; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, playing cards and spending time with his family. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri Funeral services will be held a 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Schaefer officiating.
