Myrtle Conway

Myrtle Marie Conway, 87, of Farmington passed away February 19, 2023 at Southbrook Nursing Center in Farmington. She was born April 8, 1935 in Bonne Terre to the late Oscar Franklin “Minch” and Lenora Bell (Weir) Pierce. Myrtle was a member of Happy Grove Church of God in Bonne Terre. She had a giving heart and was always willing to help someone in need.  She enjoyed crafting, crocheting and shopping. She especially loved spending time with her grandbabies.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Kenneth White; granddaughter, Ami Melton; siblings, Samuel, Katherine, Dorothy, Candy, Millie, Glenn, Barb, Lloyd and William and Anna in infancy.

Myrtle is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Conway; six children, Bobbie Davis and husband Gary, Robin Mester and husband Gary, Roberta Ludwig (Terry Williams), Brenda Skaggs and husband Lanny, Diane Johnson and husband Dwayne, Gerri Hager and husband John “Bud”; eleven grandchildren, Brandy, Tiffany, Jarrett, Ronnie, Bob, Austin, Michael, Karla, Mandi, Dan and Eric; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; special nephew, Michael Pierce and wife Shannon; special niece, Sandy Wilson and husband Ed; sister-in-law, Susan Kratky; special friends, Paul Keith and wife Charlotte. Several nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Visitation will resume on Friday at 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at C.Z. Boyer & Son -Taylor Chapel with Chaplain Josh Francis officiating, assisted by Rev. Paul Keith. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorial donations may be made to Serenity Hospice or Happy Grove Church of God.
