Nancy Catherine Hale, age 81, of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Parkland Medical Center in Farmington, Missouri. She was born on August 29, 1942, in DeSoto, Missouri to Harold Joseph and Geraldine Merle (Baker) McGuire.
   
  
On May 21, 1978, in Park Hills, Missouri she was united in marriage to Thomas Otto Hale, he preceded her in death on July 17, 2015.
   
  
She is survived by one daughter & son-in-law – Gail & David Snyder of Farmington; five sisters – Margaret Goff of Festus, Carrie (Sonny) Bourbon of DeSoto, Glenda Pratte of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Mary (Steven) Snyder of DeSoto and Becky (Robert) Cowee of Graham, Washington; one brother – Tom McGuire of DeSoto; grandchildren – Kyle (Danielle) Grindstaff and Collin Grindstaff, Amber (David) Johnston, Amanda York and Rusty (Emily) King; great grandchildren – Oviana, Logan, Riley, Ben, Amy and Jetta.
   
  
Nancy worked as a home health aide; she was an expert seamstress and had made many wedding gowns and at times made the entire wedding party's dresses; she also enjoyed crocheting and had made over a hundred Afghans, even some for babies; in addition to her sewing skills she found time to do her own gardening and canning; she loved spending time with her family and going to church where she was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Fredericktown.
   
  
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, one son, Russell Scott King, one brother, Jim McGuire and one sister, Sue Frazer.
   
  
Visitation will be from 11:00 – 1:00 on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.
   
  
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., also on Monday, March 18, 2024, with Pastor Carl Hutchinson officiating.
   
  
Interment will be at the Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown.
