Mrs. Nancy J. Scaggs

Nancy J. Scaggs of Havana, IL passed away February 26, 2012 in Springfield, IL at the age of 67. She was born September 15, 1944 in Glover, MO a daughter of Everett and Katherine (Schultz) Dunn. On October 5, 1963, she was united in marriage to Charles H. Scaggs, who survives. To this union two sons were born; Bobby (Nora) Scaggs of Bath, IL and James (Shelley) Scaggs of Glen Carbon, IL. Also surviving are two brothers; Ralph Markham of St. Louis, MO and Donald Dunn of Pilot Knob, MO, one sister, Dorothy Green of Forest City, N.C., and five grandchildren; Taylor, Bobby Jr., Wyatt, Hanah, and Kennedy Scaggs, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers; Gerald Fredricks, LeRoy Dunn, Lauren Dunn, Ronald Dunn, Dale Richard Dunn, Eddie Markham and Freddie Markham, and one sister; Virginia Stevens. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. from Annapolis Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from the Annapolis Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Howard Casteel officiating.
