Nancy Silvey, 79, was welcomed into the arms of Christ on July 28, 2026.
Born on July 19, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri, Nancy was the daughter of Gail and Doris (Gerber) McAllister.
On April 23, 1976, she married the love of her life, Steve Silvey, in Bonne Terre, Missouri. Together they recently celebrated 50 years of marriage, building a life rooted in faith, devoted to family, and enriched by countless adventures together.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Gail and Doris McAllister, and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carleen and Jerry McDermott.
Formerly of Elvins and Farmington, Missouri, Nancy and Steve raised their family before making their home in Cumming, Georgia, where they spent the next 41 years. There they embraced a life they loved—golfing, fishing, hunting, exploring nature, and participating in their church family at Coal Mountain Baptist Church. They recently returned to Missouri, settling in Cuba to be closer to family.
Nancy is survived by her devoted husband, Steve Silvey; her children, Gary Payeur, Gail Blankenship (Ron), Michele Silvey, and Christina Robinson (Joe); her grandchildren, Kristin (Billy), Nick (Stacie), and Christopher (Sarah); Andrew, Chelsea, Tayler (Travis), Rob, and Lucas (Ashlea); Stephen (Melody), Kyle (Allie), and Nikki (David); and Michael and Max (fiancée Autumn Simmerock); 18 great-grandchildren; her nephew, Doug McDermott; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. Pastor Stephen Grayson will be officiating.
