Naomi Rosetta Cartee

Naomi Rosetta Cartee, age 90, of Fredericktown, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Parkland Hospital in Farmington, Missouri. She was born on February 19, 1934, in Womack, Missouri to Frederick and Marie (Dalton) Steffan.

On August 8, 1946, in Oceola, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Benedict Cartee, he preceded her in death on November 11, 2004.

She is survived by her two daughters – Nancy Cartee and husband, Andy Kehoe and Anne Clifton both of Fredericktown; brother – Bill (Mildred) Steffan of Fredericktown; sister – Iola Louise Ballew of Womack; grandchildren – Michala (Colton) Rawson and Dillon Boyd (Riley Hurst) ; great grandchildren - Magnolia Rawson and Austin Clifton and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Naomi was a homemaker; she enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and working with crafts.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a daughter – Judy Cartee, grandson – Craig Clifton and great grandson,- Nathan Clifton.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., also on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home with Lee Reinitz officiating.

Interment will be at St. Michael's Cemetery in Fredericktown.
