Nelda Ruth Sutton

Nelda Ruth Sutton (Carver) 73 of Sweeny, Texas, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 10, 2018. She was born in Bonne Terre, Missouri. Nelda was a job's daughter and a past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 349, Ironton, Missouri. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and was a hard worker. She was also a member of Marble Creek United Baptist Church and later became a member of the First Baptist Church of Shady Acres in Brazoria, Texas. Nelda enjoyed many hobbies such as cooking, baking, gardening, canning, sewing, reading, and camping. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia, Texas from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Bryson Funeral Home in Pilot Knob, Missouri with her brother-in-laws, Rev. Larry Sutton and Rev. Mark Sutton officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 am until service time on Thursday. Burial will follow at Arcadia Valley Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers...
