      Nelson R. “Skinny” Sinclair, 93, of Bismarck passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at Southbrook Nursing Center in Farmington. He was born Thursday, December 13, 1928, in Bismarck to the late Walter B. and Faye A. (Henderson) Sinclair.

      Skinny was a member of Bismarck United Methodist Church. Skinny served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of V.F.W. Post 6947 in Bismarck. He enjoyed square dancing and cutting wood.    

       Skinny was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Ernestine “Ernie” A. (McGeorge) Sinclair; sisters, Virginia Freer and Faye Day.

       He is survived by his daughter, Claudia Gillam and husband Don; granddaughter, Katy Johnson and husband Scott; great-granddaughter, Kelsey Johnson; brother, Lonnie G. “Bud” Sinclair and wife Darlene along with nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

      Visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm with a V.F.W. service at 6:00 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Bismarck United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Barton officiating assisted by Beth Allen. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bismarck. Memorials may be made to Salvation Army, Bismarck United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
