Nona Patience 'Pat' Kemp

Nona Patience "Pat" Kemp, age 86, of Fredericktown, Missouri quietly passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, April 9, 2017. She was born on July 16, 1930 in Baxter Springs, Kansas, a daughter of Max Wayman and Nona Patricia (McCrea) Justice.      Pat was a homemaker, she was humorous, kind, caring and the best mother to her children. She enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens and collected and managed "Pat's Treasure Box", and loved spending time with her family; she was a member of the Twelve Mile Baptist Church near Fredericktown. She will be sadly missed by family and friends and her memories will be cherished by all. She leaves behind thirteen children and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.      The family would like to acknowledge and express our sincere thanks to the nurses and caregivers who provided tremendous support these last months and to also thank her numerous friends for all their well-wishes and prayers.      A memorial service may be held at a later date.
