Nora Mae Douglas

Nora Mae Douglas formerly of Bismarck, Missouri passed away March 23, 2024 at Community Manor in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 97 years. She was born January 16, 1927 in Caledonia, Missouri the daughter of the late Samuel Alfred and Lena (Vineyard) Moore. On March 6, 1947 she was united in marriage to John Paul Douglas who preceded her in death in 2003 after fifty-six years of marriage. They were the parents of Marcella Midgett (Darrell) of Bismarck, Missouri, and John L. Douglas (Jack Breier) of St. Louis, Missouri. Two grandchildren are left to mourn her passing: Mellanie Smallen (Todd) and Melissa Evans, and five great grandchildren: Ethan, Madison, Ivan, Katherine, and Nicole as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Nora was preceded in death by both of her brothers: John Moore and Leonard Moore. Nora was a graduate of Ironton High School.
