Nora Hedgecoth

          Nora Hedgecoth, 99, of St. Louis formerly of Desloge, passed away July 12, 2022.  She was born in Bonne Terre, August 16, 1922, to the late Charles and Minnie (McCall) Dillard.  Nora was a member of the First Baptist Church in Desloge and a retired secretary of Desloge High School.  She loved to play golf and spend time with her family, in her spare time.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Hedgecoth; siblings, J.C. Dillard, Golda Brown and daughter in-law, Carol Hedgecoth.

          Nora is survived by her son, James “Jim” Hedgecoth; two grandchildren, Jim Hedgecoth and wife Lisa, Pamela McGee and husband Bill; special niece, Sally Nash and Judy Ward.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, July 15, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  The visitation will resume Saturday, July 16, 2022, in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel at 9:00 AM until the service time of 11:00 AM.  Dr. Bradford Laubinger will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington.  Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in lieu of flowers.
