Norma Jean Clauser

Mrs. Norma J. Clauser passed away early Thursday morning, April 26, 2012, at her residence at the age of 73 years, 10 months & 1 day. Norma was born on June 25, 1938, in Fredericktown, MO., & the daughter of the late Fred E. Polete, Jr., & Beulah M. 'Deffendall' Polete.

Norma was: * a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Farmington; * she retired from Parkland Health Center & * she was united in marriage to Terry L. Clauser on April 30, 1955, in Fredericktown. Norma started the St. Francois County "Relay for Life" in 1995-96. She also organized the starting of HospiceCare, Inc.

Survivors include : her husband, Terry L. Clauser, Sr., of Farmington; 2 Daughters: Tana E. Clauser, of St. Louis; Kimberly D. (& Bill) Plunkett, of Jacksonville, FL. 4 Sons: Terry L. (& Melissa) Clauser, Jr., of St. Louis; Scott (& Teresa) Clauser, of Farmington; Mark D. (& Angie) Clauser, of Farmington. Bryan M. (& Brenda) Clauser, of St. Peters. 4 Sisters: Aline (& Lawrence) Hollinger, of Fredericktown; Polly (& Howard) Clark, of Swartz Creek, MI; Tina (& Mike) Akers, of Bismarck; Delores (& Wayne) Murphy, of Ozark, MO. 2 Brothers: Larry Polete, of Woodland, CA; Loren (& Penny) Polete, of Woodland, CA. Her StepMother: Marcella Polete, of Woodland, CA. 9 Grandchildren: Amber (& Dustin) Wehner; Matthew (& Julie) Clauser; Megan (& Luke) Roussin; Dustin (& Angela) Clauser; Christopher Clauser; Jared Clauser; Kyle Clauser; Cailin Plunkett & Rhett Clauser. 5 Great-Grandchildren: Brynna, Linley & Kamden Wehner; Miller Roussin & Everett Clauser.

Visitation Starts : Saturday @ 5:00 p.m.

Memorial Service : Saturday, 7:00 p.m. @ TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating.
