Norma Marie Jones

Norma Jones of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away May 31, 2026, at her home, at the age of 83 years old. She was born on August 12, 1942, in Arcadia, Missouri to the late John Arel and Edith Marie (LaPlant) West.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Marie Jones; brothers, Bill West, Don West; and sisters, Nancy Rayfield and Shirley Redelsheimer.

Norma loved to sew and made a career out of it. She was often planting, potting, and repotting her plants or tending to her flowers outside. Her daughter said that she could find a stem in the parking lot and take it home then in a week the plant would be flourishing. Most of all she loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

She survives by her loving children, Steven and wife Debbie Jones, Anita Smith; adoring grandchildren Crystal and husband Justin Perlman, Timothy and wife Hailey Jones, Adriane and husband Dalton Mitchell, and Tucker Smith; great-grandchildren, Liam, Beckham, Elizabeth, Quinn, Beckett, and Catherine; brothers, Doug and wife Gail West, Herb and wife Vonda West, Wilson “Butch” and wife Tina West; sister, Debbie West, as well as several nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Visitation will be at C. Z. Boyer Funeral Home-Bryson Chapel in Pilot Knob, Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Noon with Rick McDowell officiating. Interment will follow at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park in Arcadia, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son - Bryson Chapel in Pilot Knob.
