Mrs. Norma Leona Starnes passed away January 20, 2005, at Farmington Presbyterian Manor, at the age of 81 years, 8 months & 29 days. Norma was born April 21, 1923, in Washington, MO., to William & Mildred 'Vogt' Brueggemann. Also preceding-in-death was: her husband, Russell Glen Starnes (June 27, 1993).
Norma was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Farmington.
Survivors Include: 1 Daughter, Sandra 'Mrs. Michael' Phillips, of Collinsville, IL; 1 Son, Glen Marvin (& Carol) Starnes, of Washington, IL; 1 Sister, Catherine Stokes, of Salem, MO; 4 Brothers: Robert (& Vivian) Brueggemann, of Springfield, MO; Billy Bruggemann, of Springfield, MO; Michael (& Barbara) Brueggemann, of Pollack Pines, CA; David Lee Brueggemann, of Springfield, MO; 5 Grandchildren: Amber Umstead, of Olathe, KS; Robin Sloan, of Washington, IL; Holly Starnes, of Chicago, IL; Michelle Jones, of Waterloo, IL & John Phillips, of Collinsville, IL; 7 Great-Grandchildren: Brandon Montgomery; Josie & Janie Sloan; Alison; Ashley; Austin & Anne Marie Jones.
Visitaton Sunday, 3-7 pm. Visitation resumes Monday, 7 am & funeral Monday, 11 am, January 24, 2005, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Pastor James King officiating. Interment follows at Lutheran Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be made to: * St. Paul Lutheran Church - 609 E. Columbia St. - Farmington, MO. 63640.
