Norma Jean Moore, age 88 (formerly of Marquand, Missouri) passed away at her daughters home in Silex, Missouri on Sunday, February 4, 2018. She was born on May 25, 1929 in Buckhorn, Missouri, a daughter of Elmer Lee Mouser and Ethel Margaret (Hovis) Mouser. On March 12, 1948 in Fredericktown, Missouri she was united in marriage to JC Alvin Moore, he preceded her in death on December 7, 2000; her parents also precedes her. She is survived by three children - Alvin Moore and wife Bev of House Springs, Missouri, Karen Flamm and husband Paul of Silex and Terry Moore Sr. of Marquand, Missouri; two sisters - Retha Tripp of Lake Ozark, Missouri and Christina Mouser of Laurel, Maryland; one brother - Forrest Mouser of Cadet, Missouri; eight grandchildren and seventeen great and great-great-grandchildren. Norma Jean had worked at the Angelica Uniform Manufacturing Company in Marquand for thirty-five years, she enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with friends and family and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marquand. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February, 6, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. John Canterbury officiating. Interment will be at Moore's Chapel Cemetery in Marquand. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or American Stroke Foundation. Condolences may be posted on this website.
