Norman Arthur Hensley

Mr. Norman Arthur Hensley passed away early Monday morning, July 11, 2016, at Farmington Presbyterian Manor Nursing Home, at the age of 89 years, 5 months & 7 days. Norman was born on February 4, 1927, in Pevely, MO., & was the son of Marvin Arthur Hensley and Nellie Edith 'Silkett' Hensley. Also preceding in death were: his wife, Julia "Nan" (Hurley) Hensley, (Sept. 20, 2015), a brother, Kenneth Hensley, and a grandson, Colin Osterberg.

Norman served for 2 years in the Merchant Marines and then was a US ARMY Veteran of World War II

Survivors Include : 3 daughters - Ellen (& David) Stippey, of Florissant, MO; Kathleen (& Burton) Stewart, of Imperial, MO; and Carolyn (& Keith) Osterberg, of Herculaneum, MO. 2 sons - Kevin (& Allyson) Hensley, of Farmington; and Mark (& Boneta) Hensley, of Farmington. A brother, Loyd (& LaVonne) Hensley, of West Plains, MO. A sister-in-law, Lola Hensley, of Terre du Lac, MO. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Visitation : Saturday, 1-3 p.m., July 16, 2016

Memorial Service : Sat., 3:00 p.m., July 16, 2016 (With Full Military Honors)

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Lee Reinitz officiating.

Interment : at Sandy Baptist Church Cemetery - Jefferson County, MO. (burial to be held at a later date)
