Norman James Myracle of Pilot Knob, Missouri passed away May 7, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 84 years old. Norman was born June 22, 1936 in Ironton, Missouri the son of the late James Monroe and Mary Lurene (Gault) Myracle. On August 6, 1969 he was united in marriage to Harriann Wiseman who survives. Norman is also survived by three daughters: Kimberly Sebastian of Pevely, Missouri, Krysti Myracle of Pilot Knob, Missouri, and Amber Hatfield and husband, Ben of Lake St. Louis, Missouri. Three grandchildren survive: Tristan Brown, Ethan Brown, and Nick Sebastian, and great granddaughters: Mya Sebastian and Remi Sebastian, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Norman was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Karla Elaine and two brothers: Lyle Myracle and Curtis Myracle. Norman was a 1954 graduate of Ironton High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Abundant Life Church in Farmington. Norman served many families in the Arcadia Valley while working as a funeral director for over thirty years. He worked at White Funeral Home for eighteen years and then finished his career at Bryson Funeral Home from 1989 until 2001. Following his retirement, he continued to help around the funeral home part time wherever he was needed. Norman served as Secretary of the Arcadia Valley Memorial Park Cemetery Board for forty plus years. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved all sports. He especially loved Arcadia Valley boys and girls basketball and girls volleyball. Norman was a faithful attendee to as many games as possible. All Family members and guests are required to wear a mask while inside the funeral home building. Social distancing is also expected to keep everyone safe.
