Normand Gean Kelley of Lesterville, Missouri passes away April 20, 2020 at his residence at the age of 86 years. He was born December 19, 1933 in Annapolis, Missouri the son of the late Vernus and Hazel (Jackson) Kelley. On March 19, 1960 he was united in marriage to Darlene Lavina Lee who preceded him in death on April 8, 1998. To this union five children were born; Cynthia Biediger and husband, Stanley of DeSoto, Missouri, Michael Kelley and wife, Tina of Ellington, Missouri, Shari Durham of Richmond Heights, Missouri, Timmy Kelley of Lesterville, Missouri, and Susan Sanchez and husband, Ceasar Sanchez-Molina of St. Peters, Missouri. Normand is also survived by one sister, Linda Jo Worley of Hillsboro, Missouri, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, and wife, Normand was preceded in death by three brothers; Bob Kelley, Harold Kelley, and Troy Kelley and two sisters; Ludean Goodman, and Marie Kelley. Normand served his country in the United States Navy and retired after twenty years of service. He and Darlene then owned and operated Kelley’s Korner for another seventeen years. Normand loved horses. He also liked to tinker. He enjoyed old movies, traveling, bluegrass music and reading, especially westerns. PRIVATE graveside services will be held on April 26, 2020 at Rayfield Cemetery. A memorial service with military honors will be held at a future date.
