Olin Richardson, 94 of Bonne Terre, passed away at his residence February 3, 2012.He was born August 12, 1917, in French Village.He later served his country for five years in the United States Army, where he fought in WWII, and served in the South Pacific as well as Alaska.Olin was very active in the Parkview Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed many other past times, such as the outdoors, hunting, gardening and Cardinal Baseball.Olin would rather turn up the radio, than to listen to the Cardinals on TV.He owned his own auto repair shop, called Hematite Garage. He is preceded in death by parents, Walter and Ida (Jones) Richardson; wife, Cecelia (Higgins) Richardson; son, Olin Dale Richardson; siblings, Lawerence, Elsie, Jessie, Susie, Carl, Ernest, Lynn, and Nellie. Olin is survived by daughter, Carol (Joe) Dallas of Festus; grandchildren, Erin, Debbie, Cory, Daniel and Christopher; great grandchildren, Joey, Jessica, and Katie. Visitation will be at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Monday, February 6, 2012. The service will be held at Parkview Free Will Baptist Church, Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 10:00 A.M., with Rev. Gary Parker officiating.Interment will follow at Hall Cemetery in French Village.In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Parkview Free Will Baptist Church.
