Mrs. Ollieann Goggins of Farmington, passed away Friday, Aug.19, 2016, at her Farmington residence at the age of 88 years, 9 months & 14 days. Ollieann was born Nov. 5, 1927, in Bonne Terre, MO., & was the daughter of Lawrence Franklin Tesreau & Nellie Ellen 'Crawford' Tesreau.
Ollieann was united in marriage to Lonnie L. Goggins on Aug. 21, 1948. She was a longtime faithful member of Farmington First Baptist Church. Ollieann began her ministry service as a Youth/Young Adult Choir Leader at the Elvins Baptist Church & later served as organist for Elvins, Farmington, Cantwell & Kimberling City Baptist Churches; as well as recently the pianist at Farmington Presbyterian Manor. Ollieann earned her Master's Degree from George Peabody College, in Nashville, Tennessee & taught for 30+ years as an Elementary & Middle School teacher, specializing in Reading & Social Studies in the Farmington Public School District.
Survivors include: her husband of almost 68 years, Lonnie L. Goggins, of Farmington; 3 daughters: Jane (& Jim) Klinkhardt, of Farmington; Sue (& Lyle) Slaght, of San Antonio, Texas and Peggy (& David) Morrison of St. Louis. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren: Matthew (& Julie) Klinkhardt; Brandon Klinkhardt; Deidre (& Brandon) Merseal; Katy (& James) McCleese; Dr. Ben Morrison, MD (& wife Erica); Margie (& Anthony) Delgado and Annie (& Joe) Montgomery & 12 great-grandchildren: Johnathan, Madison & Jackson Klinkhardt; Elijah Merseal; Everett & Louis Morrison; Aidan & Rose Whitemountain; Lyla Delgado; Clark, Kylie & Max Montgomery.
Visitation: Tues., 5 - 8 p.m, Aug. 23, 2016 at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL & Wed., 6:30 - 8:00 a.m.
Visitation moves to Farmington First Baptist Church for Visitation, Wed., 9- 11 a.m.
Funeral Service: Wed., 11:00 am, at Farmington First Baptist Church, with Dr. William C. Miller, officiating.
Interment : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery - Farmington, MO.
