Oscar A. Nabors

Mr. Oscar Nabors passed away at his Ste. Genevieve County residence early Wednesday morning, April 23, 2003, at the age of 83 years, 10 months & 29 days. Oscar was born on May 24, 1919, in Ste. Genevieve County, to Edd & Ethel 'Barron' Nabors. Mr. Nabors was: * a US ARMY-Air Force Veteran of WWII; * member, Pine Log Baptist Church & * retired from Farmington State Hospital. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His WIFE: Thelma Jean 'Major' Nabors, of Ste. Genevieve Co. 1 SON: Allen (& Jane) Nabors, of Ste. Genevieve County. 2 DAUGHTERS: Cindy Nabors, & Special Friend, Jason Vaughn, of Farmington. 5 GRANDCHILDREN: Elizabeth Nabors, of Farmington. Michael & Nicholas Nabors, of Ste. Genevieve Co. Jennifer & Christopher Shunk, of Ironton. Visitation Thursday, 5-8 p.m., resuming Friday at 7:00 a.m., & funeral Friday, 1 pm, April 25th at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL.
