Pamella Sparr, 80, of Farmington passed away April 13, 2026 at Presbyterian Manor of Farmington. She was born April 16, 1945 in St. Louis, MO to the late Joseph Heckenkamp and Imogene (Frye) Griesedieck. She was a proud 1962 graduate of St. Joseph High School, where she ranked in the top ten percent in the state of Missouri, and continued her academic excellence as an honor student at Mineral Area College. She was proud to work for the Missouri Department of Conservation serving at several state parks and rivers and worked many years at Medical Arts Clinic. She also gave generously of her time to guide young lives as a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 483 and a volunteer assisting with PSR classes at St. Joseph parish. A devoted den mother for Cub Scout Pack 483, she gave generously of her time and care to the young lives she helped guide. She found great joy in traveling alongside her beloved husband, Lonny, creating memories that spanned both miles and years. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, whose incredibly sharp mind was matched only by her completely selfless heart.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her infant son, Allen Sparr; and step-father, Don Griesedieck.
Pam is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Lonny L. Sparr; two sons, Shawn Sparr and Brad Sparr and wife Kelli; two grandchildren, Trent and Alayna Sparr; siblings, Kathryn Bailey, Janet Griesedieck, Robert Griesedieck, Jim Griesedieck, John Griesedieck and Don Griesedieck.
A graveside inurnment will be held at Three Rivers Cemetery on Friday, April 17, 2026. Memorial donations may be made to the Good Samaritan Program at Farmington Presbyterian Manor, by mail at 500 Cayce St. Farmington, MO 63640 or online at www.presbyterianmanors.org/give-now. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
