Pat Harder

Evadeen (Pat) Harder, 98, formerly of Park Hills, passed away January 31, 2022 at Bethesda Southgate, St Louis.  She was born March 2, 1923, in Corridon, Missouri to the late Marvin and Dora (Sutterfield) Patterson.  Pat was also preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, John William Harder.  Together, they were owners and operated Harder & Patterson Firestone in Park Hills for 41 years.

Pat is survived by her two sons, Larry Harder and his wife Joanne, Mike Harder and his wife Ann; four grandsons John M. Harder, Adam Harder and wife Kendal, Joel Harder and wife Donelle, and Evan Harder; three great-granddaughters, Philece, Farrow, and Ruby.

Because of their years in business, church life, and involvement in service organizations, their lives touched thousands within the community.

Due to Covid and weather conditions affecting family and group gatherings, a memorial will be held at a later date.

In honor of her 30 years of service working with youth in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, memorials can be made in her memory to First Baptist Church, 411 N. Harding, Desloge, MO 63601 (Youth Student Life Camp).  Arrangements were under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
