Patricia Ann (Mueller) Pratt, lovingly known as Pat, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026, at the age of 92. She was born on Thursday, December 7, 1933, in Cantwell to the late William and Mary (McHenry) Mueller. Pat devoted her life to her family, friends, and her community, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Alice Mueller and Maxine (Bob) Clay.
Pat was married to her beloved husband, Vernon “Dale” Pratt, for an extraordinary 72 years. Their enduring partnership was a testament to their unwavering love and commitment to one another. Together, they raised a wonderful family, including their daughter Mary Beth (Rick) Peacock and son William "Bill" (Ramona) Pratte. Pat was also a cherished Gma to Chris Pratte, Brad (Heather) Bannister, Michael (Jennelle) Pratte, loving great-grandchildren, Violet Pratte, Cohen Pratte, Reighlyn Bannister, Sutton Pratte; along with several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
For over 25 years, Pat owned and operated Pat's Beauty Shop. A dedicated member of the Desloge United Methodist Church, Pat was actively involved in church life throughout her younger years, contributing as a Sunday school teacher and serving in various capacities. Her compassionate spirit extended beyond the church, as she also took part in Cub Scouts and other community activities. In addition to her love for people, Pat had a passion for crafting, painting, and tending to her vegetable garden, which she skillfully canned for her family. An accomplished seamstress, she created countless cherished items that carried her love and thoughtfulness.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge from 1:00 PM until service time of 2:00 PM. with Rev. Bob Bullock to officiate. Burial to follow at McHenry Cemetery in Park Hills. Memorial’s if desired can be made to Desloge United Methodist Church in Desloge.
