Mrs. Patricia Elizabeth 'Detring' Brockmiller passed away late Monday night, Aug. 19, 2013, at her Woodlands Manor residence in Arnold, MO., at the age of 87 years, 10 months & 2 days. Pat was born Oct. 17, 1925, in Farmington, and was the daughter of George W. Detring and Elizabeth 'Klein' Detring. Also preceding in death were: her husband, Antone William Frederick "Tony" Brockmiller (Nov. 21, 1992); two brothers - Ray Detring and Paul Detring (Dec. 23, 1968).
Pat was a longtime, faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Farmington. She was an avid gardener and bird lover, belonging to the Audubon Society. Pat was a very loving, caring person and enjoyed cooking.
Survivors Include : 3 daughters - Priscilla (& Marshall) Cobb; Marsha (& Val) Slater; and Janel Burch - all of St. Louis. 1 son - Roger (& Kathy) Brockmiller, of Farmington. 2 sisters - Barbara Foster, of Lawton, OK; Charlotte (& Jim) Simms, of Wentzville, MO. 1 brother - Jean (& Betty) Detring, of Farmington. A sister-in-law, Darlene McWilliams, of Farmington. 3 Grandsons: Frederick "Jay" Phelps; Clint (& Becky) Phelps; Joshua Cobb. Also, 4 Great-Grandsons: Jack Phelps; Ryan Phelps; Steven Phelps and Nate Phelps.
Visitation : Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, 5-8 p.m. at TAYLOR Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. Visitation resumes Sunday @ 6:30 a.m.
Funeral : Sunday, 2:00 p.m., August 25, 2013
at : St. Paul Lutheran Church, 609 E. Columbia St., Farmington, with Pastor James King and Pastor James Kirk officiating.
Interment follows at : St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Farmington.
