Patricia Ann (Conrad) Griffin of Bonne Terre, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Farmington, at the age of 79 years old. She was born on Tuesday, May 6, 1947, in Bonne Terre, to George E and Melba (McDaniel) Conrad. She was united in marriage on May 2, 1970, to Jesse E. Griffin.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Conrad (2007); mother, Melba Conrad (2025); father-in-law, Harvey Lynn Griffin (2000) and mother-in-law, Dorothy Griffin (1981).
Patricia is survived by her husband Jesse E. Griffin of Bonne Terre; daughter, Deanna (Mark) Phillips of Farmington; son, Jesse “Dale” (Melinda) Griffin of Bonne Terre; two grandsons, Griffin Phillips and Jesse “Wyatt” Griffin; sister, Nancy Conrad of Creve Coeur, along with several friends and family members.
Patricia attended Libertyville School through 8th grade and then graduated in 1965 from Farmington High School. She was a member of Genevieve Baptist Church and was a faithful servant for many years at Fairview Baptist Church where she worked diligently and taught Sunday School, VBS and worked with the children and youth for many years.
She was the 4th generation working on her family farm and then married into a 4th generation family farm. She loved working on her family farm and took pride in a hard day's work on the farm. She always said a job worth doing was worth doing right. One of her greatest joys was working along with Griffin and Wyatt on the farm.
Visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home-Taylor Chapel on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 10 am until service time of 1:00 with Rev. Mark Phillips officiating and Rev. Mike Harrison assisting. Burial to follow at Three Rivers Cemetery in Farmington.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Serenity Hospice and Cedarhurst for the care they provided. Memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice, Three Rivers Cemetery or Genevieve Baptist Church.
