Patricia "Patti" A. Morris

Patricia “Patti” Morris, of Terre Du Lac went to meet her Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the age of 75. She was born Saturday, September 6, 1947 in Bonne Terre, to the late Stanley J. and Maria E. (Ratley) Nash. Patti graduated from Bonne Terre High School in 1965 and moved to St. Louis, where she worked for the government. This is also where she met her future husband. Patti then moved back to her hometown and volunteered for Mineral Area Hospice and was awarded the “Volunteer of the Year” in 1993. She attended First Baptist Church in Bonne Terre for over 60 years. Patti had a passion for Arabian horses and loved to ball room dance.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Jerry Joe Morris in 1983; brothers, Chester L. McCormack and Larry A Nash Sr.; and sister-in-law, Jannette Nash.

Patti is survived by her; sister, Deon Padgett and husband Wayne of Terre Du Lac; several nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved; many special friends and bridge club ladies. Patti will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Sunday, September 3, 2023, from 4:00 PM until service time of 7:00 PM. Pastor Alan David will be officiating. Memorials if desired, can be directed to the Humane Society or American Heart Association.
