Paul Black, 67, of Park Hills, passed away September 30, 2019, at Parkland Health Center South. He was born November 14, 1951, in Bonne Terre, to the late Glenwood and Frances (Paul) Black. Paul enjoyed working on and showing old cars in shows, gardening, fishing and tending to his flowers. His biggest joy was spending time with his family and having his morning coffee with his pup Meeka. He retired after 39 years from the Glass Factory and attended the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Willa Wood and her husband John.
Paul is survived by his wife of 39 years, Pam (York) Black; children, Amy Lee and husband Gabe, Jarrett (fiancé Debbie) Crader, Justin Crader and wife Jessalynn, Joshua (fiancé Deanna) Crader, Jessica Lawson and husband Brandon; sixteen grandchildren, Cameron, Mackenzie, Michael, Kody, Felix and wife Peyton, Alidia, Blaine, Jase, Lylia, Janey, Gillian, Camille, Brenton and fiancé Katelyn, Brianna, Liam, and Lincoln; siblings, William Black and wife Caren, Mary Dreyer and husband Walter, Bruce Black and wife Dorene; many cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 11:00 AM until service time at noon. Pastor James Chaisson will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be directed to the family in care of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Guy Roberts & Staff along with Parkland Hospital & Staff.
