Paul Bryan France, 86, of Mitchell, passed away December 17, 2021, at Barathhaven Memory Care Center in Dardenne Prairie, Mo. He was born July 07, 1935, in Leadwood, to the late Charles and Clara (Miller) France. He was member of the United Auto Workers, where he retired from General Motors. Paul was an avid collector of neat and wonderful memorabilia, his favorite collection was antique tractors. One of his biggest passions in life was loving and taking care of his loving wife of 54 years. He was a great and wonderful dad. And adored his only grandchild, Lucy.
He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn (Wiley) France; one son, Charles “Chuck” France and wife Christina; and one granddaughter Lucy.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Norma (Bill) Boyer, Melba (Marvin) Scott, Joyce (Wayne) Stegall.
Visitation will be held at CZ Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 10:30 AM, until service time at 1:00 PM. Reverend Lindell Richardson will be officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
